Dra. Grace Augustine, uma experiente botânica que vive em Pandora há 15 anos e dirige o projeto Avatar. Ao longo dos anos em que trabalhou em Pandora, ela catalogou a flora do planeta, aprendeu a língua dos nativos e os ensinou inglês.

Trudy Chacon, uma piloto da marinha americana. Ela vai ajudar o Jake na sua missão de salvar os Na`vis

Norm Spellman, um biólogo que estuda a natureza de Pandora no laboratório de Dra Augustine.

Coronel Miles Quaritch, principal vilão do filme. O Coronel tem como missão retirar os Na'vi do clã Omaticaya da árvore onde vivem e não poupa esforços militares para cumpri-la.

O que eu achei sobre as aulas de inglês é que se tornaram muito mais interessantes pelas aulas práticas no computador além disso melhorou a minha nota em inglês e também a minha oralidade e textos. E a realização de trabalhos tornou muito mais fácil. Estes métodos foram muito bons porque assim podemos usar muito mais a nossa imaginação e criatividade. Gostava muito de continuar com este projecto escolar para o ano porque assim as aulas tornavam-se muito mais interessantes e para melhorar ainda mais as nossas notas!!

The Laser Challenge

-For me this game is better because it's associated with adventure, with various obstacles and we can win points with them, each star has a question with three answers, when we choose the right answer we win a number of points.

-I think the quality of the game is good.

-It is an easy game to play because the instructions are very explicit and easy to understand.

-Also has some interest because the game relates the story of the laser and the people most important of this story.

-The game doesn't take a long time to load, so we dont´t have to wait to play the adventure.

Madeira and its Nature

A natural beauty filled with a rich biodiversity of species of endemic flora and fauna, classified a World Nature Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. The Laurissilva Forest covers 15,000 hectares, 12,000 of which are in a Nature Reserve. Protected areas were created to conserve various species in danger of extinction and by October 1982 Madeira’s Regional Government had declared two thirds of the island a nature reserve for which it continues to provide protection and surveillance.
When Madeira was discovered in 1419 most of its land was forested. The settlers set fire too much of the Island to clear the land for farming. Today due to its pleasant climate most of the population is located in the south but the original forest is still found in the northern slopes and deep valleys of the island. This Laurel forest is composed of trees of the Lauraceae family and numerous counts of other plant species. The preservation of this environment is paramount; therefore no cattle or goats are permitted in these areas.
